PLMA Amsterdam 2026: Seedea at “World of Private Label”

PLMA Trade Fair Amsterdam 2026

Seedea consistently participates – and intends to continue participating – in key food industry trade events across Europe. We see real business value in these platforms: building relationships, tracking trends and strengthening the presence of our portfolio on international markets.

That is why we truly appreciate the institutional support that enables us to further internationalise our activities.

Our participation in PLMA “World of Private Label”, held on May 19–20 in Amsterdam, was part of an official economic mission:

Participation in the economic mission to the international private label trade fair PLMA 2026 “World of Private Label” is organized by the Marshal’s Office of the Łódź Voivodeship under the project “InterEuropa – internationalization of enterprises from the Łódź region through participation in trade fairs and expansion into European markets,” co-financed by the European Funds for Łódzkie 2021–2027 programme.

PLMA – where private label business happens

PLMA “World of Private Label” is one of Europe’s most important events dedicated to private label manufacturing. It brings together producers, importers, distributors and retail decision-makers responsible for private label development.

The exhibition covers both food and non-food sectors – from food ingredients and finished products to household goods, cosmetics and pet-related categories. Its international scale makes it one of the most relevant meeting points for structured B2B discussions.

The atmosphere at PLMA is highly professional and business-focused. Conversations revolve around specification alignment, documentation, supply reliability and long-term cooperation rather than marketing storytelling.

Two intensive days in Amsterdam – Seedea at PLMA “World of Private Label” as part of the regional economic mission.

Our Role at the PLMA Trade Fair: Strategic Research and Targeted B2B Meetings

This year, we did not participate as exhibitors. Our presence at PLMA was part of the economic mission in a visiting capacity – and this was a deliberate strategic decision.

Since the beginning of the year, we have been regularly exhibiting at international trade fairs. The Amsterdam visit therefore offered a different perspective. These two intensive days in the Dutch capital were focused on:

  • pre-arranged business meetings with selected exhibitors,
  • in-depth research of new producers and suppliers,
  • market analysis within the private label segment,
  • expanding our contact base for future cooperation.

Without the operational responsibilities of running a stand, we were able to fully concentrate on conversations and evaluating partnership potential. In private label, long-term compatibility and operational alignment are often more important than a single transaction.

Private label in food: structural growth and higher expectations

In the food sector, private label continues to expand and increasingly enters premium and functional categories. Buyer expectations are rising in terms of consistency, documentation transparency and supply chain reliability.

For companies like Seedea, this means an even stronger focus on:

  • stable raw material availability,
  • EU-compliant documentation and quality standards,
  • logistical flexibility,
  • long-term sourcing strategy.

PLMA remains one of the most effective environments to discuss these topics openly and pragmatically.

Summary

PLMA in Amsterdam is an event worth attending – regardless of the role. For Seedea, it was an intensive and well-utilised visit focused on relationships, market intelligence and future project development.

It represents another step in our consistent presence at key European industry events and our continued international expansion strategy.
