Seedea regularly participates in key global food industry events, and expanding our presence in Asian markets remains one of our strategic priorities. Our participation in THAIFEX – ANUGA 2026 marked another important step in strengthening international partnerships and exploring new growth opportunities in one of the world’s most dynamic food regions.
Our presence at the trade fair was carried out as part of an economic mission organised by the Marshal’s Office of the Łódź Voivodeship under the project “Kierunek Azja – internationalisation of companies from the Łódź region through participation in trade fairs and expansion into Asian markets”, co-financed by the European Funds for Łódzkie 2021–2027 programme.
THAIFEX – ANUGA: Scale That Defines the Asian Food Industry
THAIFEX – ANUGA is one of the largest, if not the largest food trade fairs in Asia.
The 2026 edition gathered:
- over 3,500 exhibitors
- approximately 100,000 visitors
For several days, Bangkok becomes a central meeting point for the international food industry, setting the direction for sourcing trends, product innovation and cross-border cooperation.
For Seedea, being present in such an environment means not only showcasing our capabilities but also gaining direct insight into market expectations and emerging demand patterns in Southeast Asia.

Seedea Presenting the Expanded Portfolio
At THAIFEX – ANUGA 2026, we participated as an exhibitor, actively presenting our sourcing capabilities and product expertise.
This year’s edition was particularly important for us, as it provided the first opportunity to broadly introduce our expanded product portfolio to partners in the Asian market.
In addition to our core offering of:
- pulses
- seeds
- pseudocereals
- extruded flours
we also presented new additions, including:
- plant-based proteins
- specialty flours
The response was highly encouraging, especially given the growing regional demand for functional, high-protein and value-added ingredients.

A New Market, Intensive Meetings and Real Long-Term Potential
THAIFEX – ANUGA was more than just another international event in our trade calendar. It represented a real step into a new and highly competitive market.
Five intensive days in Bangkok were filled with strategic B2B meetings, sourcing discussions and in-depth conversations about partnership models and long-term cooperation.
Direct dialogue with importers, distributors and manufacturers allowed us to better understand:
- local purchasing expectations
- regulatory and quality requirements
- product positioning strategies
- future growth segments in the Asian food sector
Beyond market analysis, the fair created tangible business opportunities and opened the door to follow-up discussions that will continue in the coming weeks.
We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand and took the time to explore potential cooperation with Seedea.
