Gulfood: A Global Meeting Point for the Food Industry

Gulfood is widely recognized as one of the most important food industry events worldwide. Held annually in Dubai, it brings together producers, traders, importers, distributors, and decision-makers from across the global food supply chain. For companies operating in raw materials, ingredients, and B2B food trade, Gulfood is not just an exhibition. It is a strategic marketplace where trends, partnerships, and sourcing directions are shaped.

Gulfood hosts thousands of exhibitors and visitors from over 190 countries. It connects supply and demand across pulses, seeds, pseudocereals, grains, and value-added food ingredients. It is also a place where long-term commercial relationships often begin with a single face-to-face conversation.

Why this Event Matters for the Global Food Supply Chain

What makes Gulfood unique is its truly global reach. The event connects markets from Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and the Americas in one location. It offers a rare opportunity to understand regional dynamics in real time. For buyers and suppliers, this means faster access to market insights. It also enables direct offer comparisons and immediate feedback on quality, pricing, and availability.

For companies active in sourcing and trading, Gulfood is also a powerful networking platform. Personal meetings remain essential in the food industry, where trust, consistency, and long-term cooperation matter more than transactional deals. Gulfood enables companies to strengthen existing partnerships while opening the door to new business opportunities across multiple markets.

Seedea at Dubai – A Milestone for Our Company

This year’s Gulfood is particularly important for Seedea. For the first time in our company’s history, we are participating in the event as an exhibitor. We will join a national stand under the “Poland Tastes Good” brand. This milestone supports our international growth. It also highlights the growing role of Polish companies in the global food ingredient supply chain.

Our presence at Gulfood highlights Seedea’s position as a trusted sourcing partner in pulses, seeds, and pseudocereals. Exhibiting at Gulfood allows us to present our approach directly to partners from around the world. We focus on quality, transparency, and long-term cooperation.

What We Focus on at Gulfood

During Gulfood, the Seedea team will focus on direct, business-driven conversations. Our goal is not only to showcase our portfolio. We also want to discuss real sourcing needs, quality requirements, and supply strategies for the coming seasons.

At Gulfood, we will be:

  • meeting with our existing clients to discuss ongoing and future projects,
  • connecting with new potential partners interested in pulses, seeds, and pseudocereals,
  • exchanging market insights on availability, quality trends, and price dynamics,
  • strengthening Seedea’s international network across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond.

Being present as an exhibitor gives us the opportunity to engage in deeper, more structured discussions and to present Seedea as a long-term partner rather than a transactional supplier.

Trade Fairs as Part of a Long-Term Growth Strategy

Events like Gulfood play an important role in Seedea’s marketing and sales strategy. In a B2B environment, especially in raw materials and ingredients, trade fairs remain one of the most effective ways to build trust, accelerate decision-making, and align expectations between buyers and suppliers.

Face-to-face meetings allow both sides to go beyond specifications and price lists. They enable discussions about quality consistency, logistics, risk management, and long-term cooperation—elements that are critical in today’s complex and globalized food supply chains.

What’s Next: Gulfood and Beyond

Gulfood starts this coming Monday, marking the beginning of an intense trade fair period for Seedea. Shortly after Dubai, we will also participate as an exhibitor at Biofach (1013 February) – the leading global trade fair for organic food and certified ingredients.

Both events offer excellent opportunities to meet our team and discuss sourcing projects, quality requirements, and market opportunities for the 2026 season and beyond.

We warmly invite our partners and all interested companies to schedule a meeting with the Seedea team during Gulfood and Biofach.

We look forward to seeing you in Dubai – and soon after in Nuremberg.
